How we build, who we
build for, and why.

Robworks Software was founded on a simple conviction: the best tools come from people who actually need them. That belief shapes everything we do — from the products we build to the way we build them. These pledges are not aspirational statements. They are descriptions of how we already operate, and commitments to continue doing so.
Accessibility is not a feature we add after the fact. It is a core design constraint that shapes every product from the start. Our founder, Ryan Robson, lost his vision in late 2024. He builds software every day using assistive technology — VoiceOver, keyboard navigation, and screen readers. This is not theoretical empathy. It is lived experience.
Because Ryan depends on these tools himself, accessibility gaps are not abstract bug reports — they are barriers he personally encounters. That daily reality creates a level of accountability that no compliance checklist can replicate.
Every product we ship includes:
- Full VoiceOver and screen reader support
- Complete keyboard navigation
- Reduce Motion awareness for vestibular sensitivities
- High Contrast mode support
- Semantic HTML and proper ARIA labeling
- Localization across 30+ languages where applicable
We believe that software should work for the full range of human ability. When we design for accessibility first, we build better products for everyone.
Robworks Software is a fully remote, solo-founded company based in Houston, Texas. We believe that great software comes from sustainable work, not from burnout. Our founder is a father of two and has built this company around the principle that meaningful work and a full life outside of work are not in conflict — they reinforce each other.
As Robworks grows, this principle will extend to every person who joins the team. Flexible hours, full autonomy, and the freedom to do your best work on your own terms. We measure output by what ships, not by hours logged.
These are not corporate platitudes. They are testable claims:
- Every Robworks product can be navigated entirely by keyboard and used with a screen reader. If it cannot, that is a bug and we will fix it.
- Our education tools are designed with direct input from educators. If a feature does not serve the classroom, it does not ship.
- Our developer tools ship with accessibility documentation and are tested with assistive technology before every release.
If you find an accessibility issue in any Robworks product, or if you have feedback on how we can better serve your needs, we want to hear from you. Reach out at support@robworks.info.
Our flagship initiative is LessonCraft — an all-in-one K-12 education ecosystem designed to give teachers and students better, more accessible tools for learning. From that vision, a family of focused applications has emerged: ClassCabinet for classroom management, Quizdex for assessment, The Runbook for study workflows, and Mira Tutoring for AI-powered learning support.
We build education technology because our founder spent years in technical training and education leadership before founding Robworks Software. The problems we solve are ones we have seen firsthand in real classrooms. Every product in our education suite is designed with educators and students as the primary stakeholders — not administrators, not investors.
We are committed to making our education tools accessible to schools and districts regardless of budget constraints, and to designing software that respects the time and attention of the people who use it.
